Report of the SIGMAN Business Meeting held at AAAI - 1997

The annual SIGMAN business meeting took place at AAAI-97 in Providence (Rhode Island) on Wednesday July 30 during the lunch break.

At the meeting the results of the last elections were announced. Leslie Interrante is the new Industrial Co-Chair, Dana Nau has been re-elected for a 2-year term as a member at large, and Bill Regli is the new benchmark secretary. Shane Chang will take the member-at-large position vacated by Leslie Interrante.

Among the ideas discussed at the meeting were the organization of workshops and other activities of interest to the members. This page is the place where new activities will be announced.
